This is the only opportunity this year for induction of juniors and a chance for the seniors to demonstrate their progress.

This in-house event will enable us to begin a build up of training toward the National, Oceania and Brisbane International martial arts competitions.

We look forward to seeing the skills of our students and disciples come to the fore as we look to grow and consolidate our practice of traditional Shaolin Kung Fu.

I hope everyone has had some quality time to relax and refresh, after all, rest is the other half of training.

Our classes for 2016 start at 6:30 pm on Tuesday 12 Jan and the timetable is back to normal from then on.

We are aiming to grow our school this year with a push toward more adult students and the goal of kids specific classes by the end of the year. This year we are also aiming to participate in the community via events such as the Lantern Festival and the National Competition.

The Grandmaster is coming! Venerable Shi De Yang, of Shaolin Temple, is going to be holding two days of seminars on the 26th and 27th of September at Shaolin Kung Fu Guan Australia, just across the ditch in Brisbane. The Kung Fu Guan has extended the invitation to us and offered the opportunity of a lifetime! Come and train with the Grandmaster, make friends, support real traditional  martial arts and experience something truly special. Get in quick to book your place as numbers are strictly limited.

The cost is $290 Aus per person for the seminars. This is to be paid to Daniel in Australian Dollars along with a completed registration form by the 30th July at the latest. The club must have our places reserved and paid for in order to guarantee our spaces.

The club will be going as a team so we will look to book as group for flights and accommodation. This will happen immediately once we have paid for our places and our attendance is confirmed. The cost is likely to be around the $700 mark. Please talk to Daniel if you have any queries or concerns.
